Danny MacAskill does daring things and this clip of him riding across rooftops in Gran Canaria is no different. He’s a trials cyclist – and here, more specifically, he’s performing a type of street trial – basically a high degree of control of a bike in an urban environment, normally without the feet touching the ground.
He’s pretty well-known now with one of his videos – a journey on Skye called The Ridge – receiving around 40 million views to date.
But we’re mainly about Spain, so enjoy the colour, skill and, seemingly, an absence of fear as he takes on a new challenge. Sure, it’s sponsored by a sports camera firm but these things take time and money to film.
Beautifully filmed, his first stunt is enough to tip your cycle helmet in admiration.
