Not to be taken too seriously – you know what statistics are like – here are a few comparisons between UK/England, Ireland and Spain. From rainfall to murder, alcohol to education – we’ve picked some figures from fairly reputable websites (since forgotten from where, of course).

Why these countries? M is English, S is Irish and we’re going to Spain!

The data is about two years old in most cases (stats have to catch up, you know) but some are more up to date.
